.... meestergitarist Joe Sixpack beschikt over een moeiteloos vloeiende combinatie van jazz, blues, ragtime en country fingerpicking ... heeft geen fluit met nostalgie te maken, maar alles met pure bezieling en ongebreideld spelplezier. Een van de gaafste rootsbands ter wereld woont gewoon om de hoek.

Deze plaat heeft werkelijk geen zwakke punten. --- "No weak points, catchy head to tail"

Joe, Huey en Sietse laten hier een samenspel horen dat we in Nederland niet vaak horen: pakkend van kop tot staart, van jive en swing tot surf en zelfs zigeunermuziek.

Die Platte macht gehörig Spaß und sorgt auf der ganzen Linie für gute Laune, sodass hier für Freunde des Genres eine klare Kaufempfehlung ausgesprochen werden kann. Und, wer einmal die Niederlanden besucht, möge doch verstärkt nach den einst von Henk Hofstede und The Nits besungenen „Dutch Mountains“ Ausschau halten, denn die müssen, so legen The Ragtime Wranglers mit „Groove A Tune“ nahe, doch irgendwo tatsächlich zu finden sein...
